Venture capital Blocore led a large-scale investment in the NUDISTAR blockchain platform “LUXON.”

The $5.8 million (about 7.57 billion won) investment, in which Blocore was the lead investor, was followed by BitCraft Ventures, FTX Ventures, Guild Pie, Formless Capital, Vista Labs, law firm Seum, and SBXG.

Blocore predicted that through this investment, Luxon will lead to accelerate the development of high-quality blockchain games and become a turning point into the web 3.0 era.

In particular, if you look at Blocore’s investment portfolio, there are global and industry leaders such as Animoca Brands, The Sandbox, WeMix, Clayton, PlayDab, and Hypebeast. In addition, since its establishment in 2018, more than 60 companies have made early-stage investments to support growth into unicorn companies, so the investment is also drawing keen attention from the industry.

NUDISTAR Luxon is a Web 3.0 platform that provides a variety of play styles with on-chain (blockchain transaction recording method) data and NFT, and succeeded in attracting initial investment from Line Games in May. Accordingly, it has announced that it plans to introduce service collaboration such as Web 3.0 games using Line Games IP, Marketplace, and NFT Staking.

With the investment attraction, “Ruxon” will secure about 11 million dollars. Using this fund, NUDISTAR will speed up the construction of the platform and the development of the blockchain game “Desperado B218: Scar of Exos.”

“Nudistar’s innovative technology and Line Games’ strong IP power will serve as a base asset and a key capability for Luxon’s successful growth into the NFT Web3 platform,” said Lim Hyung-chul, CEO of Blocore. “It is expected that Line Games’s own IP, which has already succeeded in the global market, will increase the possibility of the project.”

Meanwhile, Blocore is a blockchain-specialized investor that supports growth leaflets from technology such as torquenomics design and engineering to detailed operations such as community management, marketing, planning, and business development.
