Netmarble (251270, CEO Kwon Young-sik and Do Ki-wook), which did not perform well in the second quarter of 2022, has started to strengthen profitability by releasing new products by actively utilizing its representative IP.

First of all, MMROPG “Seven Knights Revolution,” which was released on July 28 and successfully settled in the domestic market, is Netmarble’s fourth “Revolution” title, based on mobile RPG “Seven Knights,” which was released in 2014 and recorded 60 million cumulative downloads.

“Seven Knights Revolution” ranked No. 1 in Apple’s App Store sales since its launch and recorded results of entering the top 5 in Google Play sales.

In particular, the original “Seven Knights” is a global hit that ranked third in sales in Japan’s App Store, a long-lived game and big market in Korea, and it has a wide user base in Asian markets such as Thailand and Indonesia, so it is highly anticipated “Seven Knights Revolution” based on “Seven Knights” IP.

Accordingly, Netmarble is developing a global version of “Seven Knights Revolution” with the goal of releasing it in the first half of 2023, and is aiming for a rise in sales through this.

In addition, Netmarble plans to release ‘Everyone’s Marble: MetaWorld’ in the global market by the end of this year.

“Everyone’s Marble: MetaWorld” is a blockchain-based game that has been active in the casual board game “Everyone’s Marble” enjoyed by 200 million people around the world, inheriting the strategic board game nature of its previous work.

In particular, ‘Everyone’s Marble: MetaWorld’ is being developed as an investment game in which land is purchased from real city-based MetaWorld, buildings are raised, and NFT (irreplaceable token) real estate is traded, and ultimately aims to be a real map-based real estate metaverse that adventures as its avatar in the game.

Everyone’s Marble is as popular as Seven Knights in Korea and abroad.

Netmarble is working on developing ‘Everyone’s Marble: MetaWorld’ with the goal of launching global markets by the end of this year

Everyone’s Marble, which started its domestic service in June 2013, is a mobile casual board game with cute fun elements such as △ Exclusive Victory △ Olympic Host △ Chance Card △ uninhabited island, and has already downloaded 200 million overseas services in December 2015.

In addition, according to iOS and Google Play combined and app Annie’s “Spotlight 1H15” data, it ranked 10th in global mobile game sales in 2015 and was selected as the “eight most successful mobile games in the world” released by “Pocket Gamer” in 2016.

An official from Netmarble said, “We are striving to build an unique IP ecosystem of Netmarble by challenging not only IP development but also game platforms and genres diversification. In the second half of this year, we will solidify our brand position inside and outside with ‘Everyone’s Marble: MetaWorld’ and show performance momentum in the new market.”

Meanwhile, in addition to “Seven Knights” and “Everyone’s Marble,” Netmarble is producing various games based on its own IP, such as △ Overprime △ Hypsquad △ Grand Cross W △ Raven: Arang △ Monster Arena Ultimate Battle.
