World Vision announced on the 5th that it will open a digital asset sponsorship page with blockchain company Publish.

This digital asset sponsorship is the first case of a domestic NGO to receive donations as virtual assets and issue sponsorship certificates through NFT.

It is a method in which a person who wants to sponsor transfers the cryptocurrency in his or her electronic wallet to World Vision’s electronic wallet after entering his or her real name. The transferred donations are exchanged into won through the exchange and then deposited into the World Vision won account. The entire donation will be used for the World Vision Dreaming Children’s Business.

The digital asset sponsorship page is available through the World Vision official website, and you can participate in sponsorship through Ethereum until the 31st of next month. It plans to present Son Heung-min’s NFT and Jerryback straps through a lottery for sponsors who participated in the sponsorship of digital assets.

World Vision Chairman Cho Myoung-hwan said, “We have prepared a digital asset sponsorship page to secure transparency and reliability in the execution of donations through blockchain-based fundraising campaigns. In the future, World Vision plans to expand the fundraising market and donation culture using blockchain methods.”

Meanwhile, World Vision is the world’s largest NGO and is leading a blockchain-based fundraising campaign. In particular, it promised to create a donation platform ecosystem and expand the donation area based on blockchain through a business agreement with Publication in March this year.
